Ashampoo Uninstaller wanted to delete files used by a program that was still installed. IObit scanned for leftover traces and found none after the uninstall had finished, whereas Ashampoo scanned for traces for a program other than the one I just removed, rather than the actual program I had just uninstalled. When IObit Uninstaller launched the programs uninstaller, I let it run, but I closed the programs uninstaller when Ashampoo Uninstaller launched it, as there was of course no need to run it twice. They both launched the uninstaller for the program I was uninstalling. I'm not sure if this a new feature or not, as I can't remember. ![]() Ashampoo Uninstaller can scan for leftovers for programs that it has not monitored the install of, just like IObit and Revo. ![]() I opened it and IObit Uninstaller, and then selected the same program in both to uninstall and scan for leftovers, to see which would find the most. I just tried it and found it has major issues at the moment. Ashampoo Uninstaller v7 has just been released. ![]()
